Audio description

A narration track describing important visual information in a video for blind and low-vision viewers.

Audio description conveys on-screen action that isn’t captured in the dialogue — “she points to the exit” — during natural pauses. It’s required for prerecorded video at AA under WCAG 1.2.5.
