Skip link

A link at the top of a page that lets keyboard users jump straight to the main content, past repeated navigation.

Usually visually hidden until focused, a “Skip to content” link saves keyboard and screen-reader users from tabbing through the whole menu on every page. It’s a common way to satisfy WCAG 2.4.1.
